Wellness Online Training currently offers two options for EFT certification: EFT Candidate Course Track and the EFT Certified Practitioner (EFT-CP) Course Track. Depending on which track you have enrolled in, please follow the steps and instructions under the appropriate course below.
EFT CERTIFIED PRACTITIONER (EFT-CP) COURSE
BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Once you have signed up for either course, please book a complimentary orientation call. This 20 minute call is very important! It is designed to help you as you start your course and to ensure your success. Visit www.howtotap.com/book-now and book a “Student Orientation” to set a time for your initial call. In the meantime, you are free to begin the online course and corresponding assignments.
Payment & Account Information: Once you have signed up for the EFT-CP course, you are enrolled in 6 monthly, recurring automatic payments of $388. (Unless you received special pricing.) These payments will occur through your credit card. At the end of six payments (six months), your payments will automatically end- you do not need to do anything to stop your payments. At this time, you may notice that your access to the course is listed as “expired” – this is is an automatic setting to ensure that you are not charged any more than the correct amount. We do our best to make sure there is no lapse in your access to the course by restoring it immediately, but if you have any difficulty seeing your course information at any time, please contact us right away!
Familiarize yourself with your provided Dropbox folder. This folder is shared with your mentor, and provides a secure place for you to upload your assignments and completed forms throughout the course. In this folder, there is also an editable checklist for you and your mentor to keep track of your progress throughout the course. If you have not received email notification of your Dropbox folder, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Once you have booked your orientation call, download your EFT-CP Requirements Checklist. You will sign and submit this form at the end of your certification process.
- Complete the ten lessons, nine quizzes, and five assignments in the EFT Certified Practitioner Online Course. As you move through the course, please let staff know when you are ready for your assignments. You will be given swap partners and actual non-student clients as you need.
- Read the EFT Comprehensive Training Resource Level 1 and Level 2 books. These will be provided to you as a part of your course. Please email assistance@wellnesstrainingonline.com with your mailing address to receive your coursebooks which are included in your program.
- At the end of the EFT Certified Practitioner Online Course, you will have the opportunity to take the EFT Level 1 & 2 Online Exam. You must pass this exam before moving on.
- Once you have passed the online exam, email assistance@wellnesstrainingonline.com and include a copy of your certificate indicating that you passed the test. Then, you will be granted access to the Professional Development Portion of your course. This second course is a part of your certification process, and you will be able to access these resources for no additional cost; however, you will only be able to access the advanced techniques viewing after you have completed the main practitioner’s course and passed the exam. - Read the Ethics Handbook for Energy Healing Practitioners
by David Feinstein, PhD. and pass a short, online ethics test. (When you’re ready to take the test, you can log in using the same username and password you originally set up to take the Level 2 exam).
- Complete the Recorded Group Mentoring. Download the Record of Group and Private Mentoring to keep track of all your group and individual mentoring activities. (These recordings are available in your list of Registered Courses under “EFT-CP Group Mentoring.” Visit your profile to access the list of Registered Courses.)
- Live group mentoring, another valuable aspect of your EFT Certification process, is set roughly to when a new group of students are ready to begin. Karin will contact you concerning these group mentoring sessions. You will put these on your Record of Group Mentoring.
- Complete 50 hours of sessions working with at least 25 individuals. Download the Basic Record for EFT Sessions. After successfully completing the learning/ practice portion and passing the test, please contact staff for certification clients as you need them. These Certification clients often become your first paying clients. Non-licensed students (students who already have a practice and/or are therapists/etc) usually offer 4-6 sessions free and then charge $25 per session until they are certified, at which point it normally moves to $35-$45 a session until you have enough practice to increase your rates.
- Complete 9 x 20 minute sessions of one-on-one mentoring. When you’re ready, go to www.howtotap.tom/book-now and book a “Mentoring” appointment to set a time for your one-on-one mentoring. Your mentoring calls should be completed AFTER you have completed the course, passed the Level 1 + 2 exam and ideally are already working with the above certification clients.
- Submission of 3 full sessions with case studies (a combination of live, audio &/or video) all accompanied by written reports. At least one must be live with your mentor watching or videotaped.) All must also be accompanied by a client questionnaire. Your case study sessions cannot be conducted with another student. Please contact your mentor if you need a case-study client recommended to you.
- 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development(CPD). This is a combination or required reading, videos, and others of your choosing. All materials for the first year and certification are supplied with this course. Download the Record of Continuing Professional Development Hours Form
- Two letters of recommendation regarding your professionalism, ethics, and professional character from either peers or colleagues who have known you for more than five years.
- Commitment to continue personal EFT work in the form of thirty personal sessions as swaps or with paid professionals.

After you have completed the above, you may begin working with others while disclosing that you are in the process of becoming certified. You should also begin your personal EFT work, such as paid sessions with advanced practitioners, The Personal Peace Procedure, and swapping sessions with other candidates. You would then be responsible to undertake the required steps for full certification and mentoring on your own, from the governing body or mentor of your choice.
For non-licensed individuals. The first level towards certification lays the foundation for becoming a candidate for practitioner certification. As a Candidate, you may NOT charge for your sessions. Candidacy does NOT qualify you to work with others or start your own EFT practice, it is the FIRST step in the certification process.
EFT Associate (EFT Assoc)
For Licensed Health Professionals ONLY. This is the same as an EFT Candidate except that after the requirements above, you can use EFT in your paid practice.
